Hot pink and geometric monochrome

Monochrome is a classic, which goes some way to explaining why it’s tipped as a key trend every single season. But, reinventing monochrome or finding a way to wear it differently is the way to make sure it’s updated for the season ahead. The magazine cover pictured above inspired me to pull out pieces that showcase geometric monochrome prints. Try a pop of hot pink for a slightly ’80s-inspired take on the look.

She's electric

Electric blue is a colour I wish I had more of in my wardrobe. It’s been a key trend this season which means there is plenty to choose from across the high street if you’re looking for an injection of vibrant colour in your outfits. Blue leather is my lust-have, while a colour-popping pair of heels also make a real statement.

Red checks and punk-inspired plaid have been a hit all season long. Try a check pencil skirt for a smart work look – great worn with a crisp white shirt or soft blouse. For a more casual look, plaid pumps, bags or coats are the way to go. There’s still life in this look yet before the weather warms up.
